Calvin Lee Reeder’s The Oregonian lives at the margins.  Part horror film, part existential hallucination, part experimental film, we begin with a women, known only as the Oregonian, as she wanders from bad scenario to worse scenario.  Recalling a sparse narrative structure of a film like Monte Hellman’s Two Lane Black Top, Reeder’s The Oregonian mixes elements of Nick Roeg’s psychic seepages with Alejandro Jodorosky styled abstractions and paired with sound design that will even give your bones nightmares.
