VICTORIA FU
Victoria Fu (b. Los Angeles) received her B.A. from Stanford ('00) and M.F.A.from CalArts ('05). Her film and video installations have recently been exhibited at De Appel in Amsterdam, Sala Rekalde in Bilbao, Gallery Loop in Seoul, Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, El Museo de la Ciudad in Quito, Frederieke Taylor Gallery and CRG Gallery in New York, REDCAT in Los Angeles and General Public in Berlin. Recipient of a Borchard Foundation Fellowship and Ahmanson Foundation Grant, she has also worked on publications for the Centre Pomidou, Musée d'Orsay, Otis College of Art+Design and the Wildenstein Research Institute. She was a 2006 participant of the Whitney Independent Study Program and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and was artist-in-residence at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in 2007. She lives and works in New York and L.A.
